At least three children were injured Saturday during a motorcycle crash at a dirt track near Sutton, according to Mat-Su Borough officials.

Ken Barkley, the borough’s deputy chief for emergency services, said calls came in from the track near Chickaloon Way and North Wright Way at about 11:30 a.m. It wasn’t clear how the crash occurred, or how many people were injured in the incident.

“They’re going to (medevac) at least one, ground-transport (by ambulance) at least one and parents transported at least one,” Barkley said. “So far, from what I’ve heard, it’s all non-life-threatening (injuries).”

Sutton medics were the first on the scene, Barkley said.

“They were able to get a good size-up and some good care going on their part,” Barkley said.

No further information on the crash was available from borough officials Saturday evening, Barkley said.
