ANCHORAGE — Alaska State Troopers are asking for the public’s help in locating 23-year-old Dalton Hanson of Fairbanks, who was reported missing Sept. 10.

Hanson was last seen walking away from a hunting camp near Mile 8 of the Dalton Highway, north of Livengood, troopers said. He was not wearing clothing appropriate for the weather and did not have any survival gear.

Hanson is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs roughly 160 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, black pants and boots.

Troopers led a search for Hanson until Sept. 18, when it was suspended “pending new leads and information,” an online dispatch said.

Anyone with information regarding Hanson’s whereabouts is asked to call Alaska State Troopers at 451-5100.
