Wu-Tang Clan to play show this August in Anchorage
Would you like to try Wu-Tang style? You might just have the chance this summer.
Hip-hop icons Wu-Tang Clan are coming to Anchorage in August to perform during the 20th-anniversary party for Moose’s Tooth, according to a Facebook post by the venue. The August 13 show will be a 21-and-over event with tickets ranging from $58-65.
Joined together in 1993, Wu-Tang Clan became one of the most influential and revolutionary musical acts of the 1990s. It’s not clear how many of the original members will be present at the show in August, according to the venue’s social media post.
Earlier this year, Moose’s Tooth announced tickets for their June 18 concert, headlined by indie-rock band Modest Mouse. Tickets sold out quickly for the show and the venue added a second performance to accommodate fans.
Tickets for the 20th-anniversary show go on sale June 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub box office and online.
