After graduating with a journalism degree from the Utah State University, I studied atmospheric science through Mississippi State University’s Distance Meteorology Program.

Growing up in Utah, I has always loved knowing what’s going on in my community.

My first television job was in Grand Junction, Colorado, where I covered marijuana legalization and the aftermath of several devastating wildfires.

My career has taken me across the country, but I'm happy to have landed in Anchorage in September of 2013.

While I certainly have a passion for news, I also love the great outdoors!

Fun Fact: I married into a long-time Alaskan family. One set of grandparents homesteaded in Homer, while the other came to Alaska to join the Territorial Police.

When I'm not working, I'm busy hiking, fishing, biking, and enjoying all the adventure Alaska has to offer.
