Yukon 800 crowns winner

ANCHORAGE –

The Yukon 800 Marathon is considered by many to be the toughest riverboat race in the world.

After two days of racing between Fairbanks and Galena, Tom Kriska was crowned the 2014 champion.

The race runs 800 miles along the Chena, Tanana and Yukon Rivers. Kriska’s Be-Bi-Bones Express and Clinton Huntington’s Rivers Edge were the only boats to finish the race this year.
