Wells Fargo introduces small business incentive program

By KTVA CBS 11 News 8:33 AM June 2, 2014
ANCHORAGE –

As entrepreneurship rates decrease nationwide, recent research by the Kauffman Foundation shows Alaska business creation rates buck the trend and continue to climb.

And for Alaskans looking to go into business for themselves, there are plenty of options. Gavin Graham, an Anchorage business specialist with Wells Fargo, said it’s often helpful for hopeful entrepreneurs to discuss their business plans with a financial expert or consultant.

“It’s really an idea-sharing session,” said Graham, who works to help local entrepreneurs reach financial success and business sustainability.

Now, he said, Alaskans can also take advantage of a new competition that will distribute thousands of dollars to a handful of small business owners nationwide.
