Here in south central we are going to get a break from the clouds and snow showers the next couple of days. That will mean some sunshine heading our way and slightly cooler temperatures. Sunday and Monday look pretty stormy though. A developing system to the southwest will make its way into the region bringing wind and more snow our way. Into the southeast the next few days will be quiet and a little cooler. The most active weather between now and the weekend will be in the southwest where rain, snow, and wind will be an issue into the weekend. The northern half of the state will again be quiet, but you will see some of the coldest air to hit the region so far this month.
