Currently our routine is good and a change in the weather would be all bad. Most Alaskans are enjoining the sunny skies and temperatures above normal.

We'll continue to be under the influence of high pressure across the Southcentral, Interior, Southwest and Northwest communities as we head into Friday. This is the ideal way to head into the weekend, with Fairbanks breaking records with temperatures hitting 50 degrees on Tuesday and another chance of it today.

In the Southwest cloud coverage continues to take over coastal areas, however the sunshine is doing its best to break through. Temperatures are below freezing in Bethel today, and won't budge too much as we head into the weekend. We'll stay above freezing around the southern Seward Peninsula with daytime highs in the upper 30s.

We are dealing with some moisture along the southern region of the Panhandle. Isolated showers continue throughout today for the Southern Inner Channels, but will dissipate as we head into tonight. warmer conditions will persist in the Capital City with temps in the lower 50s.

Let's head into the weekend Anchorage with more sunshine and warm weather. We are sitting at 14 hours, 29 minutes of daylight, along with temperatures coming very close to hitting 50 degrees. Some moisture may be found as we head into next week, but it's looking like we'll remain consistent as we go into mid-April.

Enjoy the sun Alaska.
