That will be the trend for the rest of the week and into the weekend for south central.  We could even see a few isolated hit and miss showers the next few days.  Temperatures in south central will remain seasonable into the weekend. 

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight will be mostly to partly cloudy with a sprinkle or two.  Lows will be in the low to mid 40s.  Thursday through Wednesday we will have clouds and sunshine with an occasional isolated shower with highs in the low 60s.

Alaska extremes.  The hot spot was at Merrill Field in Anchorage where it hit 69 degrees.  The cold spots were Atqasuk and Barrow where it dipped to 26 degrees.
