We’ve seen sunny and brisk weather in south central since the weekend. Hopefully you enjoyed today’s sunshine as it will leave us for a few days. We will see a bit more cloud cover the next two days in south central with a little bit of light snow possible in areas. Snow accumulations will be light with the hightest totals throughout the Prince William Sound and Kenai Peninsula. The later part of the week the weather should begin to quiet down again with some drier weather returning. In the southeast rain and snow showers will persist for much of the week. Weather for the northern and western half of the state will stay cool and quiet throughout the week.
