2011 November climate numbers for Anchorage, Annette, Barrow, Bethel, Cold Bay, Fairbanks, Juneau, King Salmon, Kodiak, Kotzebue, McGrath, Nome, St. Paul, Valdez, & Yakutat. These numbers were compiled from data from the National Weather Service .

Anchorage - for the month Anchorage had an average high of 19.3 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 27.4 degrees. As for snow 32.4’’ fell making it the 3rd snowiest November on record. The average snowfall in November is 12.4’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Anchorage saw 2.32’’. The average for the month is 1.17’’. A new daily record low was set on November 19th when the temperature dipped to –8 degrees.

Annette - for the month Annette had an average high of 41.8 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 44.7 degrees. As for snow 11.3’’ fell. The average snowfall in November is 3.5’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Annette saw 11.72’’. The average for the month is 12.29’’. No daily record lows or highs were recorded for the month.

Barrow - for the month Barrow had an average high of 6.1 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 6.3 degrees. As for snow 7.9’’ fell. The average snowfall in November is 5.7’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Barrow saw 0.23’’. The average for the month is 0.21’’. No daily record lows or highs were recorded for the month.

Bethel - for the month Bethel had an average high of 13.9 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 23.3 degrees. As for snow 29.3’’ fell. The average snowfall in November is 12.9’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Bethel saw 2.31’’. The average for the month is 1.60’’. A daily record low was recorded on November 26th when it dipped to –22 degrees.

Cold Bay- for the month Cold Bay had an average high of 38.9 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 39.2 degrees. As for snow 6.6’’ fell. The average snowfall in November is 10.2’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Cold Bay saw 3.08’’. The average for the month is 4.98’’. A daily record high of 54 degrees was recorded on November 11th.

Fairbanks- for the month Fairbanks had an average high of 0.4 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 11.0 degrees. As for snow 9.2’’ fell. The average snowfall in November is 13.2’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Fairbanks saw 0.46’’. The average for the month is 0.67’’. Daily record lows were set on November 15th when it hit –35 degrees, Nov. 17th it dropped to –41 degrees, Nov. 18th it dipped to –36 degrees, Nov. 19th it dipped to –36 degrees, Nov. 20th it dipped to –37 degrees, and Nov. 21st it dipped to –38 degrees.

Juneau - for the month Juneau had an average high of 34.1 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 37.9 degrees. As for snow 50.2’’ fell. The average snowfall in November is 13.1’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Juneau saw 7.68’’. The average for the month is 5.99’’. No daily record lows or highs were recorded for the month.
