Not Bad For Mid February

Well it’s going to be the same old, same old for at least the next week over much of Alaska.

Well it’s going to be the same old, same old for at least the next week over much of Alaska. The weather models aren’t showing any major changes heading our way. So what’s that mean? Well temperatures will remain a bit above average for most of the state. And southern and western Alaska will continue to see occasional storms moving onshore bringing rain, snow, and wind. This looks to persist into at least next week perhaps longer. We’ll keep you posted.

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight will be mostly cloudy with windy conditions for the Hillside and Turnagain Arm with winds of 30 to 45 mph. Lows will be in the mid to upper 20s. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of an isolated rain or snow shower with highs in the mid to upper 30s. It will be windy on the Hillside and along the Arm with winds of 30 to 45 mph. Thursday we will have a little sunshine in the morning giving way to more clouds with highs in the mid 30s. Friday we will see clouds and some sunshine with highs in the low 30s. Saturday will be mostly to partly cloudy with highs near 32. Sunday through Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 30s. Sunday will likely be windy on the Hillside and Arm with isolated rain/snow showers possible.
