Wow! What a weekend in south central Alaska. It was certainly a tough day to head back to work as the sunshine has hung around. We will see one more day of sunshine in south central so get out and enjoy it. By Wednesday the clouds and wet weather we normally see in August will return. Into the southeast the next few days you will see the sunshine we have been enjoying in south central. Interior Alaska will also remain relatively nice and dry the next few days. The northwestern part of the state will see the most unsettled weather the next few days. Parts of the Brooks Range could see 2 to 4 inches of rain through midweek.
