June 2012 climate numbers for Anchorage, Annette, Barrow, Bethel, Cold Bay, Fairbanks, Juneau, King Salmon, Kodiak, Kotzebue, McGrath, Nome, St. Paul, Valdez, & Yakutat.  These numbers were compiled from data from the National Weather Service.

Anchorage -  for the month Anchorage had an average high of  62.1 degrees.  The normal average high for the month is 62.9 degrees.  As for snow 0.0’’ fell.  The average snowfall in June is 0.0’’.  As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Anchorage saw 1.39’’.  The average for the month is 0.97’’.  No daily record highs or lows were recorded for the month. 

Annette -  for the month Annette had an average high of 58.8 degrees.  The normal average high for the month is 61.2 degrees.  As for snow 0.0’’ fell.  The average snowfall in June is 0.0’’.  As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Annette saw 8.24’’.  The average for the month is 4.88’’.  A daily record high of 87 degrees was recorded on June 23rd.  A daily record low of 37 degrees was recorded on June 4th

Barrow -  for the month Barrow had an average high of 41.8 degrees.  The normal average high for the month is 40.5 degrees.  As for snow 0.1’’ fell.  The average snowfall in June is 0.7’’.  As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Barrow saw 0.09’’.  The average for the month is 0.32’’.  No daily record lows or highs were recorded for the month. 

Bethel -  for the month Bethel had an average high of 59.9 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 61.2 degrees.  As for snow 0.0’’ fell.  The average snowfall in June is 0.0’’.  As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Bethel saw 2.48’’.  The average for the month is 1.72’’.  No daily record highs or lows were recorded for the month.

Cold Bay-  for the month Cold Bay had an average high of 49.7 degrees.  The normal average high for the month is 51.3 degrees.  As for snow a trace fell.  The average snowfall in June is 0.0’’.  As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Cold Bay saw 0.46’’.  The average for the month is 2.72’’.  Two daily record lows were recorded for the month.  On June 3rd they dropped to 32 degrees and on June 6th they dropped to 31 degrees.  A daily record high of 61 degrees was recorded on June 21st. 

Fairbanks-  for the month Fairbanks had an average high of 72.2 degrees.  The normal average high for the month is 71.6 degrees.  As for snow 0.0’’ fell.  The average snowfall in June is 0.0’’.  As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Fairbanks saw 1.39’’.  The average for the month is 1.37’’.  No daily record highs or lows were recorded for the month. 

Juneau -  for the month Juneau had an average high of 57.5 degrees.  The normal average high for the month is 62.2 degrees.  As for snow 0.0’’ fell.  The average snowfall in June is 0.0’’.  As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Juneau saw 6.69’’.  The average for the month is 3.24’’.  No daily record highs or lows were recorded for the month.
