As for snow 25.2’’ fell making it the 6th snowiest January on record. The average snowfall in January is 11.3’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Anchorage saw 1.31’’. The average for the month is 0.73’’. No daily record lows or highs were recorded for the month. Annette - for the month Annette had an average high of 37.3 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 41.6 degrees. As for snow 14.1’’ fell. The average snowfall in January is 7.6’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Annette saw 13.93’’. The average for the month is 10.73’’. Four daily record lows were recorded for the month. On Jan. 16th it dipped to 4 degrees, on Jan. 17th it dipped to 3 degrees, on Jan. 18th it dipped to 4 degrees, and on Jan. 19th it dipped to 2 degrees. No daily record highs were recorded. Barrow - for the month Barrow had an average high of –14.1 degrees. The normal average high for the month is –7.3 degrees. As for snow 5.8’’ fell. The average snowfall in January is 2.6’’.
