KING SALMON

January 2011 had an average high of 27.9 degrees.  The normal average high is 22.8 degrees.  As for precipitation 1.31'' of rain and/or melted snow was measured.  The average is 1.03''.  Snowfall for the month added up to 9.9''.  The normal January value for King Salmon is 10.0''.  No record highs or lows were recorded for the month. 

KODIAK

January 2011 had an average high of 37.5 degrees.  The normal average high is 34.7 degrees.  As for precipitation 8.13'' of rain and/or melted snow was measured.  The average is 8.17''.  Snowfall for the month added up to 23.7''.  The normal January value for Kodiak is 14.5''.  No record highs or lows were recorded for the month. 

KOTZEBUE

January 2011 had an average high of 10.4 degrees.  The normal average high is 3.7 degrees.  As for precipitation 1.18'' of rain and/or melted snow was measured.  The average is 0.56''.  Snowfall for the month added up to 17.8''.  The normal January value for Kotzebue is 8.0''.  No record lows were recorded for the month.  A new daily record high was set on January 9th when it hit 34 degrees. 

MCGRATH

January 2011 had an average high of 4.2 degrees.  The normal average high is 2.3 degrees.  As for precipitation 0.53'' of rain and/or melted snow was measured.  The average is 1.04''.  Snowfall for the month added up to 5.7''.  The normal January value for McGrath is 15.2''.  No record lows were recorded for the month.  A daily record high was recorded on January 3rd when it hit 34 degrees.

NOME

January 2011 had an average high of 22.9 degrees.  The normal average high is 13.4 degrees.  As for precipitation 1.16'' of rain and/or melted snow was measured.  The average is 0.92''.  Snowfall for the month added up to 15.5''.  The normal January value for Nome is 11.6''.  No record lows were recorded for the month.  Record daily highs were set on January 10th when it hit 39 degrees and again on January 11th when it hit 40 degrees. 

ST. PAUL

January 2011 had an average high of 29.9 degrees.  The normal average high is 29.8 degrees.  As for precipitation 1.80'' of rain and/or melted snow was measured.  The average is 1.74''.  Snowfall for the month added up to 19.9''.  The normal January value for St. Paul is 10.0''.  No record highs or lows were recorded for the month. 

VALDEZ

January 2011 had an average high of 29.8 degrees.  The normal average high is 26.6 degrees.  As for precipitation 5.11'' of rain and/or melted snow was measured.  The average is 6.02''.  Snowfall for the month added up to 42.7''.  The normal January value for Valdez is 65.3''.  A daily record low was recorded on January 17th when it dipped to -9.  3 daily record highs were recorded.  On January 11th it hit 48 degrees.  On January 12th it hit 41 degrees.  And on January 25th it hit 41 degrees.
