Southwest, southeast, and south central are going to continue to see an active weather pattern into the holiday weekend. This is going to mean cloudy skies for these regions with rain and snow at times. With the onshore flow temperatures will remain a little above normal in these areas as well. The northern half of the state should remain relatively quiet through the weekend. You’ll see cloud cover at times with temperatures also remaining a little above average.

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the 20s. Friday through Sunday skies will be mostly cloudy with isolated snow showers possible and highs in the low 30s. Monday, Presidents Day, will be mostly cloudy with snow showers possible and highs in the mid 30s. Tuesday will again be mostly cloudy with an isolated snow shower possible and highs in the low 30s. Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly to partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 20s.

Alaska extremes for Thursday. The hot spots were Hydaburg, Metlakatla, and Wrangell where it hit 43 degrees. The cold spots were Deadhorse and Wainwright where it dipped to -10 degrees.
