What a great finish to Thursday in south central as the sunshine has made a welcome return.  If you weren't able to enjoy it today we will get a few more days to soak in the sun in south central.  Saturday is looking like the better of the two days this weekend for outdoor activities.  We have an upper level system that will affect the region on Sunday.  This system will be similar to the system that brought rain to the region on Tuesday and Wednesday, but right now models have it taking a slightly more easterly track so I don't think this system will be as wet for most of the region as the system that hit us midweek.  Into the Interior the sunshine will be returning for the next few days.  Into the southwest clouds and showers will prevail the next few days.  Into the southeast skies will be mostly cloudy with a few showers.

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight will be partly cloudy with lows in the mid 40s.  Friday and Saturday look great with partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of showers over the mountains in the afternoon and evening.  Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.  Sunday clouds will return and we could see a hit or miss shower with highs in the low 60s.  Monday through Thursday will be mostly to partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 60s.
