Gee Willikers, It's Cold
The only thing we can do now is look into what the weather will bring for the future

This stretch of quiet weather continues throughout the state while temperatures continue to fall. Little precipitation can be found on the radar statewide and it has some wondering will it ever warm up.

All low pressure is being pushed south allowing high pressure to dominate the region. These lows are pushing right into Seattle where they could see 10 inches of not rain, but snow. They are getting our snow for the time being before this high pressure is moved out of the area.

Warmer weather is moving along Northwest allowing temperatures to come back up to the single digits, for the city of Nome. Even the North Slope will see temperatures on the rise with light snow entering the area into tonight.

Even though high pressure continues to push storms south, there is one that is causing a disturbance for Kodiak. Snow begun yesterday night with another 1-3" expected for today. This is allowing temperatures to increase to the upper 20's and giving them a break from cold air.

The only thing we can do now is look into what the weather will bring for the future. I say future because we are still days away from a warm up. Sunday night could bring us light snow into Monday with temperatures in the mid-teens.

That forecast is still days away so try your best to enjoy this intense chill. The sun will continue to shine giving a little hope for warmer weather soon.

Have a great day A.K.
