We’re going to see a messy finish to the work week in Anchorage, but things are looking promising for the weekend. Widespread snow will return to the region later tonight and into Friday. But this next system which is moving in out of the southeast is going to swing through south central pretty quickly. By the weekend we should see a bit more sunshine moving into the region and temperatures will remain in the 20s and 30s for much of the region. In the southeast the next 24 hours will be very wet and very windy. But the weather in the southeast will also quiet down for this weekend with some sunshine possible. In the Interior the weather will be pretty quiet for the most part with a chance of a little light snow on Friday then drying out for the weekend. The real good news for the Interior is that temperatures will continue to moderate. Out west. You are still in a deep freeze. But relief is in sight for this weekend. A more southerly flow will begin to return for Saturday and Sunday and temperatures should finally begin to climb.

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage
