A Low continues to hang out over the Gulf of Alaska, presently, continuing scattered rain showers for the Southeast and showers for South Central keeping warm air over South Central keeping snow melting temperatures. Tomorrow, that low, will still be loitering over the Gulf continuing the showers over the Southeast and South Central. Isolated rain showers with partly sunny skies will be present on Saturday morning for Juneau with a high temperature of 46 degrees. The Interior will have mostly cloudy skies with patchy fog in the morning for Prudhoe Bay and isolated snow showers to the north of Fairbanks. High temperatures of –22 and 33 degrees for Prudhoe Bay and Fairbanks. The west will have mostly sunny skies to the north and mostly cloudy skies to the south. Nome will have a high temperature of 15 degrees and Bethel will have isolated snow showers over the mountains and patchy fog throughout the day with a high temperature of 29 degrees. Unalaska will have blowing snow, snow showers, and windy conditions with cloudy skies with a high temperature of 31 degrees. Kodiak will have a chance for rain/snow showers with a little bit of sunshine and a high temperature of 39 degrees. The Prince William Sound will have various weather with Cordova getting sunny skies and a thin layer of clouds and rain/snow showers for the the rest of South Central for the Kenai and up to the Matsu Valley. High temperatures will be reaching in the 30s to 40s.

It will be a cloudy night tonight for the Anchorage Bowl with low temperatures reaching down in to the 20s and by the morning we will be getting mostly cloudy skies with light snow showers in the morning. High temperatures will be reaching into the 40s. For the rest of the week we can expect mostly sunny skies with a thin layer of clouds and temperatures dropping a degree or two by each day. As the week progresses all the melted snow will be leaving behind some icy roads. Road conditions will be especially dangerous throughout this week so be extra cautious and drive slow and careful.
