The blocking high that has brought the wonderful weather this month is going to begin loosening its grip a bit.  That's going to allow for a bit more cloud cover and the possibility of a few showers to return to parts of south central this week.  For the southeast you will continue to see periods of rain and snow showers most of the week.  Western Alaska and the Interior will continue to see dry, sunny conditions the rest of the week.

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight will be mostly clear and cold again with lows ranging from 10 above to 5 below.  Tuesday will be partly cloudy with highs near 30.  Wednesday will be mostly to partly cloudy with highs again near 30.  Thursday, St. Patricks Day, will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 30s.  Friday mostly sunny skies will return with highs in the low 30s.  Saturday through Monday will be mostly to partly cloudy with highs in the low 30s.
