So today was again one of the warmest days we've seen so far in 2011.  So that got me thinking....When was the last time Anchorage saw 70 degrees?  When was the last time we saw 75 degrees?  When was the last time, dare I say it, we saw 80 degrees?  Well I found those answers and here they are.....The last time we saw 70 or warmer was July 12, 2010.  The last time we hit 75 or warmer was May 30, 2010.  And finally the last time we saw 80 or warmer was July 7, 2009.  The all time record high temperature for Anchorage is 86 degrees set on June 25, 1953.  I bring these stats up because we very well could hit 70 degrees the next couple of days in Anchorage.  Things are going to stay dry and mild for much of the region through the weekend.
