More spring like weather has finally arrived to south central Alaska. The good news is that it looks like it is here to stay and we could even see temperatures in the 40s by the end of the week. Overall the next week or so in south central we will see mostly to partly cloudy skies with occasional rain and snow throughout the Prince William Sound and eastern and southern Kenai Peninsula. Temperatures will be running about normal to a little above normal for the rest of the week as well. Southeastern and southwestern Alaska will also see clouds, sunshine, and showers at times the rest of the week. The Interior will be pretty quiet. The North Slope looks to remain bitterly cold the next few days.
