King Salmon- for the month King Salmon had an average high of 44.4 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 42.4 degrees. As for snow 3.4’’ fell. The average snowfall in Apr. is 3.9’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) King Salmon saw 0.56’’. The average for the month is 0.97’’. A daily record high was recorded on April 27th when it hit 61 degrees. No daily record lows were recorded.

Kodiak - for the month Kodiak had an average high of 44.5 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 42.9 degrees. As for snow 0.8’’ fell. The average snowfall in Apr. is 8.0’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Kodiak saw 3.99’’. The average for the month is 5.81’’. Two daily record highs were recorded. On April 20th it hit 56 degrees and on April 25th it hit 59 degrees. No daily record lows were recorded.

Kotzebue - for the month Kotzebue had an average high of 21.5 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 21.2 degrees. As for snow 2.2’’ fell. The average snowfall in Apr. is 5.1’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Kotzebue saw 0.20’’. The average for the month is 0.54’’. No daily record highs or lows were recorded.

McGrath- for the month McGrath had an average high of 46.0 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 40.9 degrees. As for snow 2.5’’ fell. The average snowfall in Apr. is 5.1’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) McGrath saw 0.43’’. The average for the month is 0.74’’. Four daily record highs were recorded. On April 12th it hit 50 degrees, on April 15th it hit 54 degrees, and it hit 56 degrees on both April 16th and 17th. No daily record lows were recorded for the month.

Nome- for the month Nome had an average high of 28.0 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 27.5 degrees. As for snow 6.4’’ fell. The average snowfall in Apr. is 7.5’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Nome saw 0.33’’. The average for the month is 0.76’’. No daily record highs or lows were recorded for the month.

St. Paul - for the month St. Paul had an average high of 29.8 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 33.5 degrees. As for snow 8.4’’ fell. The average snowfall in Apr. is 5.7’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) St. Paul saw 1.29’’. The average for the month is 1.08’’. No daily record highs were recorded for the month. Two daily record lows were recorded. On April second it dipped to 0 degrees and on April 4th it dipped to –4 degrees.

Valdez - for the month Valdez had an average high of 49.4 degrees. The normal average high for the month is 45.0 degrees. As for snow 5.1’’ fell. The average snowfall in Apr. is 20.7’’. As for total precipitation (rain and melted snow) Valdez saw 1.59’’. The average for the month is 3.42’’. Three daily record highs were recorded. On April 11th it hit 52 degrees, on April 13th it hit 52 degrees, and on April 20th it hit 58 degrees. No daily record lows were recorded.
