The weather pattern remains pretty active for the southern half of the state with rain and snow being found from the Aleutians into the southeast.  This pattern will persist into tomorrow and then we will see a bit of a dry spell from south central into the southeast for the latter part of the work week. 

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight we will see scattered snow showers with lows in the 20s.  Wednesday will be cloudy with scattered snow showers and highs in the upper 20s.  Thursday and Friday some sunshine will return with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 20s.  Saturday through Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs ranging from 25 to 30 degrees. 

Alaska extremes for Tuesday.  The hot spots were Metlakatla and Hydaburg where it hit 46 degrees.  The cold spot was Nuiqsut where it dipped to -52.
