We picked up a little light snow in parts of south central today. Here are a few of the snow totals.

Alyeska Resort Girdwood – 6’’ (Base)-9’’(Top)

Valdez – 4.1’’

Rabbit Creek – 3.0’’

Palmer – 1.6’’

KTVA Studio Spenard – 1.5’’

NWS Office Sand Lake – 1.0’’

We will likely see a little more snow the next couple of days in south central, but we will see little if any accumulation throughout the region. We’ll see a little ridge of high pressure move in by Friday and Saturday and this will mean we will see slightly cooler temperatures and some sunshine heading our way. The weather will also be fairly similar into the southwest and southeast the next couple of day. The northern half of the state will once again be relatively quiet with a batch of some cooler air arriving towards the later part of the week.
