We've gotten a little bit of rain in south central on this Tuesday.  But it's not the soaking rain we need in some of the drier areas of the region.  We'll continue to see the clouds and showers hanging around Tuesday night and Wednesday.  We should see some sunshine returning for Thursday.  But by Friday and Saturday the clouds and threat of showers will return to the region. 

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight will be cloudy with showers at times.  Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s.  Wednesday will be cloudy with some showers possible, especially in the afternoon.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.  Thursday we will start the day with clouds then sunshine will return by the afternoon with highs in the low to mid 60s.  Friday mostly cloudy skies will return with a few isolated showers possible.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.  Saturday will be cloudy with showers with highs in the 50s.  Sunday through Tuesday will be mostly to partly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s to near 60.

Alaska extremes for Tuesday.  The hot spots were Eagle and Nenana where it hit 80 degrees.  The cold spots were Deering and Kivalina where it dipped to 27 degrees.
