We’re going to see big changes temperature wise throughout most of Alaska the next few days. Temperatures the next few days will be running 10 to 20 degrees cooler than what we’ve seen the past week. In south central the next few days temperatures will be in the 40s with dry conditions for most of the region through midweek. Temperatures over northern and western Alaska will only climb into the 20s and 30s the next few days. The bulk of the wet weather through the middle part of the week will remain into southeast Alaska.

7 Day Forecast For Anchorage

Overnight will be partly cloudy and cool with showers ending over the mountains. Lows will be in the low 30s to upper 20s. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Wednesday will be sunny with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Thursday clouds will be on the increase with an isolated shower possible late in the day with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Friday and Saturday will be mostly cloudy with an isolated shower possible and highs in the mid to upper 40s. Sunday and Monday we could see a few rain showers with highs near 50.

Alaska extremes for Monday. The hot spot the past 12 hours was Seward where it hit 59 degrees. The cold spot the past 24 hours was Anaktuvuk Pass where it dipped to 3 degrees.
