Weather causes Mat-Su Borough School District to close some schools

Citing poor weather and tough road conditions, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District has closed some schools today.

They include: Trapper Creek Elementary School, Talkeetna Elementary School, Su Valley Jr/Sr High School, Willow Elementary School and Beryozova School.

Additionally, two activity buses for Palmer High School and Wasilla High School wrestling scheduled to travel to Fairbanks are cancelled.

All other traditional MSBSD schools are open, the district says.
