Tour acts to perform at Anchorage show with local bands

ANCHORAGE – Members of a popular touring music festival are heading to Alaska this June.

While the lineup has yet to be announced, concert promoter Chris Cardenas confirmed Warped Tour bands would play a special “Road to Warped Tour” show in Anchorage this summer. Cardenas said he began working on the project with Warped producer Kevin Lyman in December, and plans to include both local and national acts.

A lineup of Warped performers — and other show details — will be unveiled Jan. 24, and Cardenas said the local acts would be announced at a later date.

“This is very huge,” Cardenas said. “There will be alot of publicity from this event, both locally and nationally.”
