MOSCOW – A trolley bus explosion in Volgograd Monday morning killed at least 10 people and wounded several more, Russian media report.
The blast came a day after a suicide bombing in the same city killed at least 17 and injured scores, the Russian news service Russia Today says. It puts the death toll at 15.
Sunday’s blast hit the main railway station of the southern Russian city, 40 days before Russia is to hold the Winter Olympics in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi.
Russia’s Investigative Committee believes Monday’s explosion could have been another terrorist attack, Russia Today reports.
