Dia de los Muertos: a time to remember

Take a look at the colorful, personal altars at Out North's Dia De Los Muertos, a weekend-long art and culture event honoring the Mexican Day of the Dead

Check out Out North's weekend Dia De Los Muertos events:

Friday, Oct. 30 from 5 -7 p.m.: Gallery hosts an opening reception the exhibit of Dia De Los Muertos altars, all designed by local artists and organizations.

Saturday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m.: The Storytellers Guild of Anchorage presents an evening of spooky Halloween stories for teens and adults.

Sunday, Nov. 1 starting at 3 p.m.: A Dia De Los Muertos celebration for the family, including live music and dance performances starting at 5 p.m.

All events are free, open to the public and held at Our North, 3800 Debarr Rd.
