4 trends for fall fashion
Experts with Apricot Lane Boutique in the 5th Avenue Mall shared four trends and looks you can incorporate into your wardrobe this fall.
Layers and textures are big trends this season, according to Ann Marie Valdez, the owner of Apricot Lane Boutique. She used the outfit of a cord jumper with a denim jacket.
"A mulberry color, that's very in right now," Valdez added. "That camel, these are all great fall jewel tones."
The next look is a soft vowel next top with a quilted vest and denim.
"Hannah is wearing two of our actually very trendy colors right now, mustard and olive green," Valdez said. "As well as a very soft detailed top with ruffled detailed and vests are very big."
The third look is a dress for homecoming.
"We have Jordan in one of our new homecoming dresses, bright red, very gorgeous," Valdez said. "Some fun little bow detail and carrying one of our Brighton handbags. We carry a lot of Brighton accessories, some little Rosette pieces."
The fourth and final look is an over-sized sweater and denim.
"Trist is wearing an over-sized Chenille sweater, fun details, distressed. It's supposed to look like that," Valdez added. "The cloth denim jeans, which are very popular...then we carry a brand of necklaces called the guitar pick bling. She is wearing one with a guitar pick on it."
For those shopping on a budget, the two must-have items Valdez recommends is a denim jacket and a nice pair of short booties.
