Applicants who meet basic requirements and are selected to move on to the testing phase will be notified September 25-28.

The written testing starts on October 12. About 150 applicants who pass the written exam with at least 70 percent will move on to the next round of testing, which includes interviews and physical ability tests. After another potential interview with the fire chief, conditional offer letters will be sent out starting November 5.
