From theater to communication and social skills, Alaska Theatre of Youth offers arts education for kids.

"It's sort of my home away from home," said Lulu Hedman, a student at the non-profits conservatory camp. "I don't think my summers would be the same without it."

Theatre of Youth usually offers three camps during the summer. It also has classes in the fall and spring with a main stage production. 

"We have the show starting Thursday through Saturday," Hannah Bankson, executive director of Theatre of Youth. "We have five productions, including a fairy-tale production."
