The latest vandalism at Fire Lake Elementary School in Eagle River led to an arrest of a boy early Wednesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the school around 3 a.m. after a report of someone banging on a window.
They searched the area and saw the suspect running away. He was taken into custody for questioning and later charged.
An investigation was started back in March when graffiti was found outside the school. Since then, there have been a total of four more reports of graffiti and broken windows – including the one on Wednesday.
Officers have determined one person is responsible for all of the reports.
