Suspect at large in Ketchikan drug case
Alaska State Troopers and Ketchikan police are looking for a man facing drug charges who failed to appear in court last week, asking residents of the Southeast Alaska town to call 911 if they see him.
Jeremy E. Ellis, 24, is wanted on a no-bail warrant from Ketchikan court and being sought by Ketchikan police, troopers said in an online dispatch Wednesday. He is also wanted on a $1,000 warrant for violating the conditions of his release.
“Do not attempt to contact Ellis on your own as he is believed to be armed and dangerous,” troopers wrote. “He is known to carry a firearm.”
In March, troopers said they had seized about $3,500 in cash along with 34 grams of heroin and drug sales paraphernalia from a Second Avenue home in Ketchikan. Two handguns were found there, one of which had been stolen in a burglary.
Anyone who sees Ellis or has word on his whereabouts is asked to call troopers at 907-225-5118 or Ketchikan police at 907-225-6631.
