Two suspects in a homicide in Mountain View remain at-large, and Anchorage Police have renewed calls for the public's help in locating the two men they say should be considered armed and dangerous.

Mickee Thompson, 19, and Robert Smith, 18, are wanted in connection with Anchorage's seventh homicide of the year -- a fatal shooting the morning of Thursday, April 12, in the 4200 block of Mountain View Drive.

APD spokesperson, MJ Thim, says the victim, 21-year-old Sosaia Finau, was shot multiple times at an apartment complex. Thompson allegedly used to date the victim's girlfriend, and the shots rang out after an argument ensued at the girlfriend's home.

Thompson and Smith fled on foot, according to witnesses.

Monday's call reporting a suspicious person at Valley of the Moon Park included a possible sighting of one of the suspects. APD says the report was unfounded.

Thompson and Smith are each charged with first- and second-degree murder.

The shooting prompted several local schools to be placed on stay-put mode the morning of the shooting.
