Calling all superheroes. You're invited to join the 49th annual Walk and Roll for Hope, and help Alaskans who experience intellectual or physical disabilities.

Mike Wachsmuth, an organizer of the Walk and Roll for Hope, joined KTVA's Daybreak to discuss the event, and encourage you to become a hero for hope.

The 49th annual Walk and Roll for Hope takes place on Saturday, May 5 in Anchorage. It begins at 9 a.m. at 10th & P Street.

It takes place in Kenai at 11 a.m. at the Hope Kenai Community Center.

In Kodiak, the event starts at 10 a.m. at Baranof Park.
