Alaska’s Office of Special Prosecutions is still reviewing possible charges against former State Representative Zach Fansler and may have an update in the next few weeks, according to KYUK.

Fansler resigned last February following assault allegations after a woman accused him of slapping her repeatedly. The Juneau Police Department reportedly looked into the alleged assault in January and appears to have completed its investigation.
