Snow, go. The golfers are waiting.

At the Anchorage Golf Course, it still looks like winter, but that's changing. As the spring thaw continues, each day brings more of the green-- or in this case, brown. But seeing the grass is a good sign. It means a round of golf is nearing.

"It looks pretty good," says General Manager Rich Sayers, "All of the south facing areas are getting a lot of snow melts with the sun."

It'll still take some time, but it's getting closer.

"With the weather staying above freezing at night, it should go pretty quickly. We lost several inches this weekend."

The hope is by the end of the month the course will be open for business.

At the Palmer Golf Course, officials may make a decision about opening a few holes by the end of the week.
