Alaska State Troopers say they're investigating the death of a Wasilla woman whose body was found lying on an ATV trail in the Valley over the weekend.

Troopers were called around 11 a.m. on Saturday after someone reported finding a body lying in the snow on an ATV trail near Pittman Road, according to AST's online dispatch. Troopers identified the body as 46-year-old Colleen Coulson of Wasilla.

"Investigation revealed that Coleen had died on an ATV trail from possible hypothermia," troopers wrote.

Troopers say they found no signs of foul play. However, alcohol is believed to be a factor.

The remains were sent the State Medical Examiner's office.  The investigation is ongoing.
