Alaska Miss Amazing celebrates women of all abilities
The 2018 Alaska Miss Amazing queens have been crowned. The pageant for women with disabilities of all ages aims to inspire confidence and boost self-esteem through pageantry. The event celebrated five years in Alaska on Saturday at Dimond High.
Throughout the nearly four events, contestants practiced introducing themselves, modeled evening wear and showcased their talents on stage.
At the end of the evening, every participant was crowned a princess, and a queen was selected in each of six categories:
Pre-Teen -- Grace McGrew
Jr. Teen -- Bianca Pagel Miller
Teen -- Kayla Burger
Jr. Miss -- Bridget Gillson
Miss -- Lexie Wooster
Sr. Miss -- Cheyanne Hintsala
