Police in Alaska’s capital say they've apprehended a man who was wanted for violating his conditions of probation.

A statement from Juneau police Friday asked for information on the whereabouts of 28-year-old Lester Allen Hunt, a Juneau resident.

“Mr. Hunt has a $500 Juneau [Alaska State Troopers] warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation,” police wrote. “His original charge was [first-degree burglary].”

Tuesday, JPD said Hunt had been located at a residence in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue and was taken into custody. He was booked into the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
