In 2016, the Anchorage Assembly filed a protest against the company's liquor license application because the space had not been cleared by the Fire Department, Building Safety or the Municipal Department Health and Human Services.

Before opening their doors, Dave & Buster's says it's looking to hire 230 employees for various positions. To learn more about positions, visit daveandbusters.com/careers.

"Positions are available in both front and back-of-house capacities, including servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks, game techs and more," according to the company.

The menu for the new location was included with the liquor license application.

Dave & Buster's is set to open Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Dimond Center Mall on the second floor near the movie theater.

Monday's ribbon cutting and grand opening event starts at 10:45 a.m. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
