Pomrenke heads to the next level, gets a second chance on the gridiron
Wednesday was a great day for Jonathan Pomrenke. The Colony senior signed his national letter of intent to play football at NAIA Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa.
"I really like the school, I had a couple of choices, went down and visited them. They were everything I was looking for, so, I'm excited for it," he said.
It's a victory in another way. Pomrenke suffered a broken ankle this fall. As a result, he lost more than half of his senior season.
With a 3.9 GPA he plans to major in biology and ultimately plans to become a dentist.
