Gov. Bill Walker addressed the Juneau Chamber of Commerce at noon Thursday for a lunch-hour speech.

Walker annually speaks to the Juneau Chamber, then often takes questions from the community’s business leaders.

In previous appearances, Walker has spoken of the state’s need for a long-term fiscal plan.

Such a plan, he has said, is essential to prepare for any sharp downturns in oil prices, like what he encountered not long after taking office four years ago.
