Alaska State Troopers are asking for help finding an SUV and its driver after a Wasilla road-rage encounter Tuesday evening escalated to a threat of deadly force.

According to an online dispatch, troopers responded just after 7:45 p.m. to the incident, on Lucille Road between Seldon and Schrock roads.

“Investigation revealed an unknown male suspect pointed a handgun at a 41-year-old Wasilla woman after their vehicles nearly collided,” troopers wrote. “No shots were fired and no one was injured.”

Troopers said the suspect vehicle was a white Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban.
