Dave & Buster's expects to open their first Alaska-based location this March, according to a press release issued Tuesday.

The franchise restaurant and arcade gaming business will be located in a newly renovated 43,000 square-foot storefront at Anchorage's Dimond Center Mall.

This is the 110th North American location, according to the release.

In 2016, the Anchorage Assembly filed a protest against the company's liquor license application because the space had not been cleared by the Fire Department, Building Safety or the Municipal Department Health and Human Services.

Before opening their doors, Dave & Buster's says it's looking to hire 230 employees for various positions. To learn more about positions, visit daveandbusters.com/careers.

"Positions are available in both front and back-of-house capacities, including servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks, game techs and more," according to the company.

The menu for the new location was included with the liquor license application.
